Privacy policy

This page describes what limited personal data ten7events collects, why, and how long we keep it. It is written to satisfy the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). ten7events (see the imprint) is the data controller.

What we collect

• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Fly.io) records request metadata (IP address, request path, timestamp, user agent) for operational and security purposes. We don't aggregate or analyse these logs.
• Aggregate analytics. We use Umami Cloud to count page views in aggregate. Umami runs cookie-free, stores no identifiers in your browser, and reports only anonymised, aggregated traffic.
• Advertising cookies. The site carries Google AdSense ads (currently on the points calculators and discipline guides). In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, Google's certified consent message asks your permission before any advertising cookies are set — it is the single place we ask for ad consent. If you consent, Google sets cookies to serve relevant ads and measure performance; without consent, no advertising cookies are set. The choice is held by Google, not transmitted to us.

What we don't collect

• No accounts. No registration. No newsletter list.
• No purchases, no payment information.
• No analytics cookies. The Umami script above is cookie-free.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you. Because we don't run accounts and don't store browsing history, in practice the data we hold is limited to short-lived server logs. To exercise any of these rights, email ten7events@gmail.com.

Changes

If we change analytics or advertising partners, or migrate to a new host, we'll update this page and the cookie policy together.
